The Kandy Edition of the 12th consecutive Future Minds Higher Educational and Career Exhibition got underway today, on the 24th of June 2017 at the upmarket Kandy City Centre. The exhibition marks its 7th year in Kandy serving the student community in the Central Province.

The event was declared open by the Chief Guest, Hon. Sarath Ekanayake, Chief Minister, Central Province. Mr. Thusitha Wijayasena – Chairman / CEO and benefactor of Future Minds also graced the exhibition as a guest of honour.

Hon. Sarath Ekanayake, addressing the distinguished gathering thanked the exhibition for bringing its valuable resources for the benefit of the student community in Kandy and the Central Province. The Chief Minister added that apart from the Central Province, students and parents from metropolitan hubs such as Kurunegala also travel to Future Minds to explore the vast opportunities available at Future Minds.

The Chief Minister stressed that a considerable segment of students make hasty decisions and engage in various odd employment and that they should visit exhibitions such as Future Minds and realize the tremendous variety of higher education streams and options that would help them build a strong and stable career.

Future Minds Kandy will be open from 24th to 25th June from 6am to 9am, with over 60 universities and institutes operating stalls and entrance is free of charge.
